Your data is collected in part when you provide it to us. This can be, for example, data that you enter into a contact form.

Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

How do we use your data?
Some data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive free information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. Additionally, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions about data protection.

2. General Information and Mandatory Disclosures

Data Protection
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Personal data is information that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage duration has been specified within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you submit a legitimate deletion request or revoke your consent for data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g., tax or commercial law retention periods); in the latter case, the deletion will take place after these reasons cease to exist.

International Data Transfer
We would like to inform you that when using services and tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries, personal data may be transferred to and processed in these countries.

Please note that these countries may not guarantee the same level of data protection as within Switzerland. US companies, for example, are subject to surveillance laws that may allow authorities to access personal data without affected individuals having effective legal remedies available.

Data will only be transferred to these countries if adequate data protection is ensured and the sensitivity of the data is appropriate. Adequate data protection is ensured in such cases through:

- Data protection clauses in a contract between the contracting parties that have been previously notified to the FDPIC
- Standard data protection clauses previously approved, issued, or recognized by the FDPIC
- Binding Corporate Rules

If we use services on our website that result in data transfer to third countries, we will inform you about this in detail in the respective sections of this privacy policy.

Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent that you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Marketing
You have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

If your personal data is being processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes.

Right to File a Complaint with the Supervisory Authority
You have the right to file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) if you believe your rights under Swiss data protection law have been violated.

Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, either for yourself or to have it transferred to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done if it is technically feasible.

Information, Deletion, and Correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions about personal data.

Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time regarding this. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:

- If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or establish legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of processing instead of deletion of your personal data.
- If you have filed an objection, a balance must be struck between your and our interests. Until it is determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest.

Right to Notification
If you have requested the correction, deletion, or restriction of processing of your personal data, we will notify all recipients to whom this data has been disclosed of this correction or deletion of data or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

Updates and Changes
We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this privacy policy to ensure it complies with current legal requirements or to accommodate changes to our services. Any updates are made with the aim of continuously ensuring the protection of your personal data. The current version of our privacy policy is always available on our website and will be marked with the respective date of the last modification.
